Publication Ethics

Khidmah Ijtimaiyah: Journal of Community Service is a scientific journal that publishes articles derived from community service activities, applied research implementation, community empowerment programs, and scholarly reflections related to community engagement. This statement of publication ethics applies to all parties involved in the publication process of the journal, including journal managers, editors, reviewers, and authors.

This publication ethics statement refers to the Regulation of the Head of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications. The ethical principles upheld in scientific publications include the following values:

  • Neutrality – ensuring that the publication process is free from conflicts of interest and conducted professionally and objectively.
  • Fairness – providing proper authorship recognition to individuals who have significantly contributed to the research or community service activities.
  • Honesty – ensuring that all published works are free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism.

The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publication serves as a guideline for the managers of Khidmah Ijtimaiyah: Journal of Community Service, editors, reviewers, authors, and other parties involved in the journal publication system to consistently uphold ethical standards and take responsibility for maintaining integrity and quality in scientific publishing.
